All of our suites look out upon a garden abloom with frangipani and bougainvillea and shaded by
palms and casuarina trees. The swimming pool by the edge of the white sand beach is
guarded by a very tall, very stately mahogany tree said to be more than 100 years old.
People come from all over to be married beneath the Old Mahogany Tree at Treasure Beach.
After six months of renovation and restyling, Treasure Beach has reintroduced the popular
Wedding Package to simplify the chores of organizing your tropical ceremony. It's a snap:
you pay $880, we do the rest.
Island weddings have their own little rituals, so Treasure Beach has a fulltime Wedding
Coordinator, Debbie Odderson.
"We want to make the event totally unique and memorable for our guests," says Miss Odderson.
"We organize nitpicky, finicky things like the bridal posy and the groom's boutonniere.
We prepare a lovely one-tier cake decorated with flowers and make sure there's a bottle of
chilled Champagne on hand to toast the happy couple. We take care of the stamp duty for
the license and the fee for the officiating clergyman -- we drive the couple to the ministry of
Home Affairs to attend to their documentation."
Our package includes an upgrade to one of our more luxurious suite (if there is such a thing!)
and Treasure Beach invites all newlyweds to crown your special day with a candlelight dinner,
either on the terrace of the Al Fresco Restaurant or in the privacy of your own verandah.
For tips on weddings beneath The Old Mahogany Tree and full details of the Treasure Beach
Wedding Package, brides-to-be should call Debbie at 246/432-1346, extension 2266. She'll
work hand in glove with the you to plan the perfect day -- rather than merely checking off a
few items on a pre-prepared package.
