Cayman Islands Weather & Climate
The Cayman Islands like Jamaica and other Island in the Caribbean, sits in
the northeast trade wind belt of the Caribbean and therefore enjoys a stable Weather climate. Cool winter nights
and hot to humid summer days all the year-round. The Cayman Weather is influenced only occasionally by winter
storms known through the Cayman Island as Nor'westers.
The humidity in summer is often higher; one can always look forward to the cool sea breezes at night to bring
relief and cool them down. In the daytime, traveling with a sun hat or cap is a good idea, especially for tourist
strolling along Cayman seven mile beach, one of Cayman top attraction along with diving, snorkeling and lots of
different water sports.
The Temperatures in Cayman call for cool clothing, visitor to the Cayman Islands will notice that there is no need
for a jacket in the days as the weather is mostly hot and humid. In the summer temperatures rise in July and August
daytime highs will be in the upper 80's to low 90's, nighttime Temperatures will be in the low 80's. High humidity
in the summer months can often make the days and nights feel hotter. A favorite time to visit Cayman is December
through end of April.
The Cayman Island like most of the other Caribbean island is affected with Hurricane, Storm and tropical
depression, there condition will affect the Caribbean mostly in summer June to November, these weather condition
will also affect your cruise vacation, Cruise ship are know to change course because of bad weather, taking you
away from the Islands on your itinerary to other Island you did not plan to visit.
