When The Palm decided to make its move to Puerto Rico in 1998, there was no
other choice than the elegant El San Juan Hotel and Casino. The El San Juan hotel,
founded in 1958, was bolstered by a $50-million renovation in 1985 making it the
most magnificent hotel in Puerto Rico. The San Juan Palm serves the same succulent
steaks and jumbo Nova Scotia lobsters as all Palm Restaurants but has the advantage
of being situated in a beautiful tropical locale.
