Dominica is one of the best islands, in the Caribbean, for scuba diving. The waters of Dominica are protected and enforce strict policies as a means of preserving the beauty of the underwater parks. Visitors to the reserves are required to pay a small marine park users fee which helps in the maintenance of moorings and the parks. Some of the dive sites are Scott's Head Pinnacle, Cabrits, Soufriere Pinnacles, Champagne Reef, Pinard, Coral Gardens and Cottage Point.
