Andros Island Bonefish Club now takes a seat on real estate that was one time a sisal plantation. Owned by the British, the plantation's principle function was to make lines  for boats. In the year 1984, Captain Rupert Leadon paid for this real estate from the government of the Bahamas with a vision to bring ahead the lodge which stands today.
